Before Starting PACE-2-FACE...

1. Make certain that your default browser (or normal browser) is closed.

2. Before opening PACE-2-Face it is very important to close programs like MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger, ICQ, or any other program that uses the Internet. Keeping these programs open may result in a slower PACE-2-Face session.

The following tips help you get the best out of your PACE-2-Face session
for the best sound and image...

1. Avoid sites with excessive animation, the shared site will refresh too often and reduce image and voice quality.

2. Avoid speaking at the same time.

3. If sound is lost, raise hand and gesture that you cannot hear.
(Then work the problem out.)

4. Avoid sites with popups. Example

5. Do not scroll too fast, there is a delay for the other person. Hot Tip!
6. Keep tool bars simple. Do not have unnecessary toolbars open. click here to see how...

7. Do not click on buttons that are unknown to you. Example
for an interesting and valuable session

1.
Have topics of interest ready for sessions.

2.
Always make conversation.
(While exploring sites and also when sites are not working.)

3. Have a back-up plan in case the session does not take place.
(Phone each other and speak or reschedule the session.)

4. Choose sites which allow you to interact.

5. When mentoring your partner, it is best to have the person you are connected with share, while you control the screen.

6. Do not close your Internet screen. (If done, hang up and click restore.)
(If this does not work, reopen Internet explorer and in p2f, click select program and highlight explorer.) Tutorial
