Changing Windows Internet Explorer "Tool Bar"

To maximize the amout of screen space available for sharing the Internet Explorer "Tool Bars" should be kept as small as possible.

To achieve this, the added toolbars such as the Yahoo, Google pop-up blockers can be hidden.

Below is an example of a cluttered toolbar.

To hide unneeded toolbars follow these steps:

1. Using the mouse, left click on the View menu.

2. Move the mouse down and highlight Toolbars. Another menu should slide out to the right.

3. Move the mouse to the right and highlight the new menu. We are going to remove the checkmark on Yahoo Companion. Move the mouse down and highlight Yahoo Companion, then left click. The toolbar will now be hidden. Let's remove the Links toolbar also.

Now the toolbar is ideal for PACE-2-FACE.

To return the toolbar settings simply follow the same steps. Left click on the View menu, scroll down and highlight Toolbars in the drop-down menu. Then you simply left click again on Yahoo Companion and Links to make them visible on Internet Explorer.
