The Gerontechnology Symposium "Geront Expo" will focus on seniors' autonomy and on health care improvements for home bound seniors:

Home services and communication technology in connection with health care centers, telemedecine and telecaring applications, long distance training and education of healthcare professionals, caregivers, volunteers and home-users.

This conference is organised by the Federation Hospitaliere de France (FHF, in partnership with the French Geriatrics and Gerontology Society, IUP Ville et Santé (Université Paris 13), the French Foundation for Gerontology.

CALL for Gerontechnology innovation proposals :

Show your innovation project at the Gerontexpo exhibition,
Paris on the 25 /27th March, 2003,
in the Gerontechnology innovation area!

The Federation Hospitaliere de France (FHF), in partnership with the French Gerontology Foundation, The French Society for Geriatrics and Gerontology, IUP Ville et Santé Ingenierie du Vieillissement Department(engineering of ageing), Université Paris 13, launch a call for presentations of innovative projects to promote independent living of seniors and people with disabilities.

The innovation project must be at the experimentation level, patented, but not yet on the market. The presentations should be made in French (compulsory) in order to allow for successful presentation and demonstration to the 15,000 French health professionals visiting the Geront Expo exhibition.
